Home Boarding Service for Dogs

If your dog does not adapt well to a kennel environment or the idea of placing your dog in kennels simply does not appeal, then this service is for you. 


Whilst you are away on holiday, your dog will be welcomed into the family home and will be treated as such, ie one of the family! 

For your extra peace of mind, we are a non-smoking household with no small children.  Both myself and my husband are canine first aid trained.  I have been inspected by Dudley Council and am officially licensed to carry out this activity in my home.

Your dog's routine will be discussed with you prior to your holiday and every effort will be made to adhere to a similar routine during his time with me.  

Before any booking is confirmed, you are invited to visit me in my home to see how I operate and to see where your dog will be staying.  It will also give you the opportunity to meet my dog, Doug, to make sure that both dogs integrate well. 

Important paperwork will be completed detailing everything I need to know about your dog, eg emergency contact numbers, veterinary details, medical history, feeding and exercise requirements etc. Only one dog is boarded at any one time (or two from the same family) so you can rest assured that your dog will receive a lot of individual attention. 

Prior to your dog's stay, further familiarisation visits can be arranged, where your dog can visit my home for an hour or so, to help him get used to his new surroundings and to give us both the opportunity to get to know each other.  This is of great benefit to your dog as it really helps with the settling-in process. 

This service is extremely popular and early booking is strongly advised.

Home Boarding of Small Caged Animals and Birds

This is a boarding service for small caged animals, eg rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits etc and birds.  Indoor rabbits/guinea pigs can be housed within the warmth of the family home in cages provided by the customer.  Alternatively, hutches are provided for outdoor rabbits/guinea pigs.

This is one of the outdoor hutches.  Hay and sawdust is provided but clients are asked to provide their pet's regular food to avoid upset tummies.  During fine weather, rabbits/guinea pigs have access to runs out on the grass. It is necessary that rabbits are vaccinated against VHD and Myxomatosis and the vet's certificate presented before boarding.
